It’s time to lace up your running shoes and get moving! Distance running requires a high level of commitment, steady training, and self-discipline before you even step up to the start line. Preparation is key.

Seattle is bursting with great places to run! After all, it’s nicknamed “The Evergreen State” for a reason and has over 400 parks totaling 6,200 acres. There are plenty of places to lace up your running shoes and see some amazing greenery, snow-capped mountains, bountiful lakes and water, or even great urban spots if you prefer city runs.
